RY-LOCK

RY-Lock
  • Ideal for new or retrofit applications.

  • On renovation projects, Ry-Lock can often be applied over existing roofs, providing a fire and weather-resistant cover.

  • Panels are designed to be used over solid wood or metal decking that has a minimum slope of 3 in 12.

  • Not recommended to be applied over purlins or any manner other than over solid sheeting.

  • Nominal .018 thickness, baked on siliconized modified polyester paint, 7 colors.

  • Panels are designed to be installed in one continuous length. End laps are not recommended.

All metal architectural panels have wide, flat surfaces to fill the demands of today's consumers. While Ryerson has responded to these demands, we have a responsibility to point out that a wide and perfectly flat appearance is not always possible. All flat steel surfaces can display waviness commonly referred to as "oil canning". This is caused by steel mill tolerances, variations in the deck/purlin alignment and relative reflectivity of the material. "Oil canning" is an inherent characteristic of flat steel products, not a defect, and therefore is not a cause for panel rejection.
